GUWAHATI: The police have recovered a sum of money in a financial fraud case in Guwahati on Monday, April 7.

The cyber police team under the Crime Branch of Guwahati has successfully intervened in a case of financial fraud involving unauthorised transactions. Responding to complaints of fraudulent activity, the team was able to trace and recover the stolen amounts from the victims' accounts.
The team recovered ₹18,000 and ₹13,947 from the fraudulent transactions, bringing the total recovery to ₹31,947. These amounts were credited back to the affected victims' accounts, providing some relief to those impacted.
The efforts are ongoing in order to recover additional stolen funds. The investigation is still underway, and the authorities are working to identify and apprehend those responsible for the fraudulent activity.
