GUWAHATI: The Assam Cabinet has approved ₹22,000 crore for implementing key initiatives such as the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Udyamita Asoni (MMMUA) and the Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Asoni for 2024-25 on Thursday, January 16.

The guidelines for the implementation of MMMUA have also received Cabinet approval. The scheme aims to empower women entrepreneurs and sustain economic independence across the state.
Moreover, the ceremonial distribution of seed capital is scheduled to commence in April 2025.
