GUWAHATI: Assam’s cabinet has approved Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹1,22,000 crore, which will be signed during the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025.

This was announced by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma following the state cabinet meeting held on Sunday, February 23.
The development seeks to facilitate the signing of multiple MoUs during the upcoming summit, which will aim to attract large-scale investments in key sectors and boost Assam’s overall economic growth.
The initiative is particularly expected to enhance infrastructure, industry, and employment prospects in the state.
In a related development, the cabinet also approved other key decisions regarding the textile and apparel industry, biotechnology policy, and urban infrastructure development.
