GUWAHATI: Ranjit Kumar Pachnanda has been appointed as the security advisor to Assam Chief Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal.
Pachnanda belongs to the 1983 batch of IPS from the West Bengal cadre. He has served all Central forces like the BSF, SPG, CRPF, CISF, CBI and the ITBP.
