GUWAHATI: Rima Das, whose film, ‘Village Rockstars’ was submitted as India’s official entry to the Oscar’s under the Foreign Language Film category was not selected.
However Das, who also featured on GQ’s 50 Most Influential Young Indians list, is not too disheartened. She put out a message on her social media handles thanking everyone, all her fans and supporters who have stood with her and her film throughout their journey.

She said that she is grateful for the love, support and warmth she has received in all the cities the film has been screened and that the journey of the film, with all the cast and crew has been “incredible, full of hopes and aspirations.” She said on her twitter that she will keep her faith alive and keep on dreaming.
