GUWAHATI: The Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has declared the final result of the Assam Police Constable exam 2020, Director General Of Police (DGP) Assam said in an official notification.
The SLPRB has announced the results for 6,662 posts of Constables (AB and UB) in Assam Police, 813 posts of Constable in APRO and 788 posts of Constable etc in F&ES, 754 posts of Constable under DGCD and CGHG, Assam.
The result of 154 posts of Constable from SPOs against sanctioned posts of AISF Battalion DGCD and CGHG have been withheld due to a court case.

“Reference recruitment of (i) 6662 posts of Constable (AB & LIB) in Assam Police in pursuance to advertisement dated 25-04-2018 & Notice / Addendum dated 19-12-2019 (ii) 813 posts of Constable in APRO & 788 posts of Constable etc. in F & ES in pursuance to advertisement dated 18-02-2020 and (iii) 754 posts of Constable/ Guardsman under DGCD & CGHG in pursuance to advertisement dated 08-06-2020. The final result for the above mentioned recruitments have been uploaded in SLPRB website (wmv.slorbassam.in). Candidates are requested to visit the SLPRB website for detailed information.
Result for 154 posts of constable (for SPOs only) in AISF Battalion under DGCD & CGHG in pursuance to advertisement dated 13-12-2017 is kept on hold in view of Hon'ble Gauhati High Court, Guwahati order dated 09-03-2022 passed in WP(C) No. 1678/2022.,” the notification stated.
