GUWAHATI: In a major reshuffle announced on Thursday, September 26, the following changes have been made in the Department of Assam Police:
Rosie Kalita, Additional Superintendent of Police has been transferred and posted as SP (CM’s SVC), Guwahati against the existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking overcharge.
It is to be mentioned that Rosie Kalita, APS,the then ADCP( Crime) Guwahati successfully cracking the case and flawless investigation leading to conviction of the accused involved in the sensational murder case of Meritorious student Shweta Agarwal.
Ima Das, DSP (DSB), Nalbari has been transferred and posted as DSP, CM Security against existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking overcharge.
Ramandeep Kaur, Assistant Inspector General of Police (L), Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Commandant CDO Bn, Mandakata against existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking overcharge.
Hemanta Kr Das, SRP, Pandu has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration), Police Commissionerate, Guwahati against existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking overcharge.
Nabin Singh, ASP (Security), Sivasagar has been transferred and posted as SP, BI(E0)-I.
Rajveer Singh, SP, BIEO-I, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent Railway Police, Pandu.
Sanjib Sekhar Roy, Commandant, 5th APBn Sontila, Dima Hasao has been transferred and posted as SP, FRRO, Silchar.
Patrick Ronghang, SP, FRRO, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 5th APBn Sontila, Dima Hasao and Mukut Rabha, ASP (B), Kokrajhar has been transferred and posted as ASP (HQ), Kokrajhar and Taburam Pegu, ASP (HQ), Kokrajhar has been transferred and posted as ASP (B).
