GUWAHATI: Renowned filmmaker from Assam, Rima Das has voiced her opinion regarding the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill at a Northeast Business Summit organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce on January 17.
The internationally acclaimed writer/director said that the government should respect the sentiments of the people of the state and take them into consideration. She said that the bill has created unrest not only in Assam but the entire northeastern region.
