Reliance Communications (Anil Ambani Group) will shut down its Telecom and DTH services across the country on 30th November. Sources revealed that the existing customers will possibly have the option to port to a network of their choice using MNP or possibly be ported to the operators that take over the telecom service of the Reliance Communication group. Assam currently has over 6 Lakh users on the Reliance network.
According to information, special packs and plan benefits will not apply on calls and SMS once the services are suspended.
