GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Water Supply Project, supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has opened registrations for residents in 14 new areas on January 2, 2024, to ensure clean and hygienic drinking water.
The areas of the city are - Fancy Bazar, Panbazar, Silpukhuri, Barowari, Latashil, Left side of GS Road Majhar Road to Paltan Bazar, Bormotoria, Birubari, Rupnagar, Kharghuli Hills, Hengrabari, Hrimbapur, Swaraj Nagar, and Down Town.
Citizens residing in these specified localities have been urged to apply for the hassle-free delivery of potable water directly to their homes. To register for the water connection, visit the website www.gmdwsb.in or download the GJB mobile app available on Google Play Store.
Guwahati Jal Board took to X to put out, “REGISTRATION OPEN in 14 new areas. Citizens of the mentioned areas are requested to apply for a hassle-free delivery of clean and hygienic drinking water directly to your homes under the JICA assisted Guwahati Water Supply Project.”
