GUWAHATI: The Quality Council of India (QCI), in partnership with the Assam Government, hosted the Assam Gunvatta Sankalp event in Guwahati on Wednesday. The primary objective of this initiative is to bring about a quality revolution that reaches every corner of Assam, benefiting its citizens.
A significant moment during the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Quality Council of India (QCI) and the Commissionerate of Food Safety, Assam, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Assam Government. The MoU aims to "improve the food safety ecosystem in the state of Assam through creating Quality Infrastructure mechanisms such as conformity assessment frameworks & infrastructure, training & capacity building of stakeholders, and more."
The Assam Gunvatta Sankalp featured four enlightening sessions, each addressing critical aspects of Assam's development in various sectors, including Education and Skill, Industry and MSME, Sustainable Agriculture, ONDC, Tourism, Culture, and Infrastructure. Eminent speakers from diverse domains shared valuable insights and recommendations during these sessions.
