GUWAHATI: Alpana Khound Phukan, Principal of Maria's Public School, Guwahati, passed away on June 19 at her residence in Guwahati.
Alpana Khound Phukan was battling against cancer which was detected a couple of months ago in New Delhi. Her last rites were performed at Navagraha crematorium today. She was around 60 years old.
She is survived by her husband, son and daughter.
