GUWAHATI: Prince Daniel of Sweden reached Guwahati on February 13. The Duke of Västergötland is here to visit an underdeveloped area in Hajo and has offered financial assistance to a non-governmental organisation (NGO) there.
The NGO is working to educate the underdeveloped area of Hajo. A member of the NGO said that the prince’s royal visit will bring more attention and awareness to the area and they will work be encouraged to work even harder.
Earlier, Britain’s Duke of Cambridge, Prince William and the Duchess, Kate Middleton visited Assam in 2016.
