GUWAHATI: The Assam Police have arrested the 6th and last person in connection with the Guwahati blast that occurred on May 15 in Zoo Road.
The arrested person, Bijoy Asom, is one of the scooty riders and has been arrested today at 5pm from Dangori area of Dumduma in Tinsukia district.

He will be brought to Guwahati for further investigation.
Speaking to the media, Guwahati Commissioner of Police Deepak Kumar said, “The Doomdooma police on May 21 arrested Bijoy Asom and he will be brought to Guwahati soon. It is a major breakthrough for the Assam Police as we have arrested all the accused persons involved in the blast.”
