GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Sunday, August 25 on 'Mann Ki Baat,' his monthly radio programme and urged the citizens of the country to visit the northeast at least once in their lifetime and appreciate the natural beauty of the region.
In his speech, he said that "the diversity of country will enrich you from within."
He stated that the northeast is very generous and that people will be fascinated by the beauty of it’s divine nature.

"Go there and study, take your family along, spend some time there," he added.
PM Modi also said that when visiting these places, people should learn the way of living of the varied destinations, their culture and their traditions.
