"PM Modi will say A for Assam but his works indicate Assam is a dustbin. That is the reason such policies like Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has been imposed in the state," stated Bhasco De Saikia, Working President of Raijor Dal told G Plus.

He said that one year has passed since the CAA movement but still the high-level Clause 6 committee has not presented its report on Clause 6 of the Assam Accord to the Assam government.

As per reports, that document is yet to reach the centre.

A Home Ministry statement in Parliament on Wednesday said the report is still "under examination" by the state.

Raijor Dal is a political debutant in Assam led by jailed peasant leader Akhil Gogoi. Launched on October 2, 2020  the party will contest upcoming elections.
