GUWAHATI: Assamese playwright, Rajdweep Dey has been selected as one of India’s ‘Young Leaders’ by India Today magazine this year.
The magazine in its recent issue had described Rajdweep’s journey from mobile Assamese theatre to Bollywood. More recently, one of his screenplays, ‘Ishqlogy’ also won the fourth prize at Cinestaan India’s Storyteller’s Contest held in Mumbai.
Currently, Rajdweep is a very busy man. He is working on his plays, both writing and directing them. He has also submitted plays for next year to different theatre groups, for which rehearsals will soon begin.
