Passenger Amenities Committee members visits Guwahati and Kamakhya stations

A five member team of the Passenger Amenities Committee today arrived at Maligaon to inspect Guwahati and Kamakhya railway stations. The members of the committee are Shri Ramanand Tripathi, Dr. Rajdeep Roy, Shri Prabhunath Chauhan, Shri Ramadheen Singh and Ms. Manisha Chatterjee. The Committee formed by the Ministry of Railways is of the nature of Departmental Advisory Committee. It studies, inspects and provides suggestion / recommendation to the concerned authorities on matters related to passenger amenities in railway premises. After making inspection of Kamakhya and Guwahati railway stations the members of the committee hold discussion with the General Manager and other senior officials of N.F.Railway at Maligaon. The committee will inspect Lumding railway station on 9th and New Bongaigaon railway station on 10th September.
