GUWAHATI: Parvej Musaraf has etched his name in the history books of Assamese cricket as the third player to score a century in his debut Ranji Trophy match.
The occasion unfolded during the match against Uttar Pradesh which started on February 2, where Musaraf showcased his batting prowess.
Joining the exclusive club of Assamese cricketers achieving this rare feat, Musaraf follows in the footsteps of the late Anwar Hussain from Jorhat and Deep Borah from Guwahati.
This achievement highlights Musharraf's individual talent and also adds to the cricketing legacy of Assam.
Assam is currently trailing by 232 runs at the end of Day 3 on February 5.
