GUWAHATI: With 3,091 persons being inoculated against COVID-19 on Thursday, January 22, the total number of beneficiaries who have received first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Assam till date has reached 10,676.

In the on-going first phase of vaccination in India, frontline healthcare workers are being administered with the COVID-19 vaccine.
As on January 21, a total of 2,16,954 persons from across Assam have tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus out of 63,31,271 tests conducted. While 2,13,295 persons have been cured and discharged, 1,077 persons have succumbed to the infections.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases in Assam stands at 1,221.
