Over 1.10 Lakh Tourists Visit Kaziranga National Park Since its Re-Opening

GUWAHATI: The total number of tourists that visited Kaziranga National Park & Tiger Reserve since October 21, 2020 is 1,10,458. This is after 8 months of the Park being closed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Visitors were also allowed to explore the Potahi wetland under Burapahar Range in the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve since December 23.


The Kaziranga National Park had reopened for tourists from October 21 and the total revenue collected since its re-opening is Rs 2.06 crores.
