One Killed in Rhino Attack in Assam’s Kaziranga

One person has died in the Kaziranga National Park (KNP). The person named Boloram Orang was attacked by the rhino while he was returning from the paddy field.

The death was confirmed to G Plus by KNP Director P Sivakumar. 


“Boloram Orang was attacked by Rhino today on February 8, 2021. He was sent to hospital where he was declared brought dead, P Sivakumar told G Plus.


The deceased was attacked at Geleki, which falls under the Bokaghat range.


This is the second death caused by rhino attack in Kaziranga National Park recently. Earlier, Moheswar Hazarika, a game watcher under Agoratoli Range was attacked by a rhino while discharging night duty at Siga highland. As per reports, he succumbed on the spot and was declared brought dead.
