GUWAHATI: A person was killed in an accident where a dumper knocked down a two-wheeler in the Hajongbari area of Chandrapur, Guwahati in the late hours of Monday, February 17.

The accident occurred when the victim, identified as Kalpajyoti Choudhury, was on his way towards Guwahati riding a two-wheeler and was run over by the dumper.. Choudhury was reportedly a resident of Beltola, Guwahati. The driver of the dumper allegedly fled after the accident.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from Pragjyotishpur said, “He was taken to the hospital but died there.”
