GUWAHATi: A 28-year old man, Jagat Patra who had returned from Tamil Nadu has been forced to quarantine himself for 7 days inside a toilet.
He had no option but to do this after his request of extension of institutional quarantine was turned down in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha.

Manas, who was employed in a Tamil Nadu based company, was admitted at Sudukanthi School for Institutional quarantine, following which he got discharged and was asked to isolate himself at home as he showed no symptoms of being infected by the virus.
To ensure the safety of his family members, the man took shelter in a Swachh Bharat toilet, close to his house from June 9 to 15.
