NPP to Continue Supporting BJP Ally in Manipur

GUWAHATI: Days after the political disarray in the BJP-led Manipur government where 4 MLAs from the National People’s Party (NPP) withdrew their support to the government, the party has now agreed to stay on as an ally with the current government.

Earlier, an NPP delegation led by Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma along with Manipur deputy CM Y Joykumar met union home minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda in New Delhi and assured the NPP’s support to the BJP government in Manipur.
