GUWAHATI: NorthEast United FC host Kerala Blasters FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati in the Hero Indian Super League on 23 November.

Two goals in stoppage time helped NorthEast United secure a 2-1 victory over Kerala Blasters.

Bartholomew Ogbeche scored the first goal for the hosts from the penalty spot in the 91st minute of the match. The goal was then followed by Juan Mascia’s wonder strike in the 94th minute as the ball went straight over Dheeraj Singh’s head.

Matej Poplatnik had given Kerala Blasters the lead, but the visitors' defence fell apart right at the dying moments of the match.

The Highlanders have been impressive this season with 11 points from their first six matches. They are just below the top two at the moment, but with matches ahead they could quite easily make the jump.

Earlier NorthEast United and Kerala Blasters have faced each other eight times with Kerala winning five of those matches and NorthEast winning two matches.
