GPlus is delighted to announce the launch of the 10th edition of the highly-anticipated Guwahati Food Awards. Slated to take place on December 22, 2024, this milestone event promises to be bigger and more exciting than ever, celebrating the vibrant and diverse culinary scene of Guwahati.
Nominations for the Guwahati Food Awards 2024 are officially open, inviting restaurants, cafes, lounges, and eateries across the city to participate in this grand celebration of culinary excellence.
With a wide array of 35 categories to choose from, this edition will recognize the city's finest in categories such as Best Bakery, Best Café, Best Multi-Cuisine Restaurant, Best Club/Lounge, Best Pub/Bar, Best Restaurant for Ethnic Cuisine, Biryani Brand of the Year, Best Value for Money Restaurant and many more.
This year’s awards also feature new exciting categories like Unique Food Service Concept/Format, Best Brand of the Decade.
In addition, five special categories including Home Baker of the Year, Home Chef of the Year, Chef of the Year, Restaurateur of the Year, and Wine/Cocktail Master Class, will provide homegrown talent and culinary professionals an opportunity to shine on this grand stage.
The Guwahati Food Awards 2024 is not just a competition but a celebration of the incredible talent, innovation, and hard work of the city's food industry. The winners, selected through a rigorous two-stage process that includes an independent consumer survey and a jury selection, will be honoured in a gala ceremony.
The previous edition saw over 200 nominations, with more than 2.5 lakh public votes cast, leading to recognition of 34 winners who set the benchmark in culinary excellence.
