The 10th edition of the Guwahati Food Awards, set to take place on December 22, 2024, promises to be bigger and more thrilling than ever. This event is dedicated to celebrating the diverse and vibrant food scene of Guwahati, with over 35 exciting award categories, including fan favorites like Best Bakery, Best Café, Best Multi-Cuisine Restaurant, Best Pub/Bar, Biryani Brand of the Year, and many more.
New categories this year include Unique Food Service Concept/Format and Best Brand of the Decade, which aim to highlight innovative and long-standing culinary achievements in the region.
The awards also feature four special categories—Home Baker of the Year, Home Chef of the Year, Chef of the Year, and Restaurateur of the Year—to showcase homegrown talent and culinary professionals.
Entries will be evaluated through a rigorous two-stage process involving an independent consumer survey and a jury selection. Winners will be honored in a grand gala night scheduled to take place on December 22, 2024.
The previous edition saw more than 200 nominations and 2.5 lakh public votes cast, resulting in 34 outstanding winners who set the bar for excellence.
