GUWAHATI: Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday stated that no Prime Minister in Indian history has been as tolerant to criticism as Narendra Modi.
Sarma took a jibe at Bajaj Group chairman Rahul Bajaj for blaming the BJP government of not being able to tolerate criticisms.
“#RahulBajaj Ji, perhaps no PM in Indian history has been as tolerant to criticism as Sri @narendramodi. Little wonder he has openly responded to your anxiety! You are a very respected industrialist and we expect such you to guide us to build a #NewIndia”, Sarma tweeted.
Bajaj while speaking at an event in Mumbai on November 30 spoke about the government on its stifling of criticism.
“You (the government) are doing good work and despite that, we don’t have the confidence that you’ll appreciate criticism”, said Bajaj.
