GUWAHATI: State health and family welfare minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, in a press conference on April 4, once again requested those who attended the Nizamuddin markaz religious congregation in Delhi to voluntarily report themselves.

He added that the state government will take action from April 5 onwards against those who do not come forward and inform the authorities.

“All district and state authorities of the Nizamuddin Markaz are requested to give the list of the travellers,” said Sarma.

He added that a total of 812 tests have been done on those who attended the Nizamuddin markaz, out of this 24 were positive and 636 turned out to be negative.

But these people are still under quarantine.
