GUWAHATI: The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has released the National Institutional Rankings Framework (NIRF) 2022 India rankings for the year 2022 on Friday, July 15. As per the list, several universities and colleges of Assam made it to the top 100 ranks.
The National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam ranked 24 in the category of law. There were 30 institutions in the category that is topped by the National Law School of India University, Karnataka.
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras has ranked first both in the Overall and the Engineering Category, and the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore topped the list in the University Category.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has ranked 7th in Engineering Category, retaining its position since 2021. The institution also ranked 8th in the overall retaining its position from 2021.
