GUWAHATI: Assam's Minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Atul Bora, recently launched a new initiative aimed at aiding livestock farmers in the state.
The programme introduced a newsletter titled "Pashudhan Darpan," which will serve as a valuable resource for livestock farmers by providing insights into various schemes offered by the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, along with essential information related to livestock.
The newsletter will be published quarterly in both Assamese and English languages.
The inaugural issue of "Pashudhan Darpan" was officially unveiled by the Assam Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Association during a ceremony held at Janata Bhawan.
Additionally, the minister inaugurated the first volume of the "Directory of Officers", a comprehensive resource containing information about the officers and employees working within the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department.
