In a sensational incident that occurred in the city, a newly born baby girl's dead body was found in the banks of river Brahmaputra at Bhutnath.
The localites suspect that the baby's parents might have left her in the bank of the river because it was a girl child.
The dead body has been handed over to Bharalu Police. The baby is suspected to be 13 days old.
The baby has injury marks on her body and localites supect that she might have been bitten by street dogs.
