GUWAHATI: Chandan Brahma, Minister of Tourism, Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes flagged off the 12551 from Kamakhya Railway Station on February 27.
The new train Yesvantpur - Kamakhya AC SF Express will be the first ever train branding under the Awesome Assam Campaign.
The 12552/51 Kamakhya Yesvantpur AC Express is a Superfast express train belonging to Indian Railways - Northeast Frontier Railway zone that runs between Kamakhya and Yesvantpur Junction in Bengaluru.
It operates as train number 12552 from Kamakhya to Yesvantpur Junction and as train number 12551 in the reverse direction serving the 7 states of Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
