GUWAHATI: New routes and traffic regulations will come into effect from April 23 near the Cycle Factory area in Guwahati, due to the proposed foundation work of the Cycle Factory Flyover from Cycle Factory to Birubari Tiniali. The changes will remain in place until further notice, according to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic.

As per the announcement, no vehicles will be allowed to travel from Cycle Factory towards Birubari Tiniali. The stretch between Birubari Tiniali and Cycle Factory will be made one-way, with vehicles permitted only to move from Birubari Tiniali towards Cycle Factory.
Vehicles heading from Ambari Tiniali towards Cycle Factory Tiniali on F.A. Road will be diverted near Fatasil Ambari Police Station via Bishnupur Road towards Bishnupur Tiniali. Moreover, no vehicles will be allowed to ply from Bishnupur Tiniali towards Cycle Factory via Bishnupur Road.
Further, the stretch between Fatasil Ambari Police Station and Bishnupur Tiniali, and from Bishnupur Tiniali to under Aaryanagar Flyover, will be declared as No-Parking Zones on both sides until construction work is completed.
