In a meeting held at Janata Bhawan, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal announced that the new work timing for all the departments of Assam State Government will be from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. The new timing will be effective from 1st Januray 2018.
The minister also announced to provide employment to Olympic medal holders in the APSC, along with an award of Rs 1 crore, in the coming days.
The salary of casual employees have been increased from Rs 6,500 to Rs 9,000.
