The announcement put out by NBEMS on Monday, March 17, has put an end to widespread speculation regarding its postponement.

NEET PG 2025 will be held in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across multiple exam centres in India. The exam, conducted in two shifts, serves as the sole entrance test for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs in the country.

NBEMS will soon release the official information bulletin on its website (natboard.edu.in), detailing eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern, application process, and other guidelines. The online application process has been expected to begin shortly after the bulletin’s release, and candidates must submit their applications within the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

NEET PG is a national-level entrance examination that covers subjects as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the Medical Council of India. The subjects include Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and others.

Following the examination, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the remaining 50% state quota seats will be managed by respective state counselling authorities. The counselling process includes registrations, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to allotted institutes.
