NTA Extends Application Deadline For NCET 2025 Applications

 

GUWAHATI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension to the deadline for online applications for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2025. The decision comes in response to numerous requests from students, institutes, and stakeholders, particularly due to ongoing CBSE and other board examinations.

The exam is scheduled for 29 April 2025 and will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2025-26. This program is offered across various Central and State Universities, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges.

The updated schedule is as follows:

- Last date for submission of online applications: 31 March 2025 (up to 9:00 PM)
- Last date for successful transaction of fee: 31 March 2025 (up to 11:50 PM)

The original application deadline was March 16, 2025, but following a recommendation from the NCTE, the NTA has extended the deadline.

Further details regarding the correction window, City Intimation Slip, and Admit Card release will be announced on the official NCET 2025 portal.
