Narengi High School In Guwahati Burgled Again As Security Concerns Mount

 

GUWAHATI: The Narengi High School in Guwahati fell victim to burglary, as thieves broke the door’s lock and made off with valuables, including an undisclosed amount of cash. The burglary, reported on October 24, adds to a series of similar incidents, raising serious concerns over the school’s security measures.

An official from Noonmati Police Station disclosed on Saturday that the CCTV footage from the school provided little visibility. "CCTV footage has no visibility at all. We will search for other footage near the school," said the official, highlighting the challenges faced by authorities in gathering crucial evidence.

This incident is not the first of its kind at Narengi High School, which has previously reported several cases of burglary. The repeated break-ins have sparked apprehension among staff and students, urging authorities to consider stricter security measures to safeguard the premises.
