‘Namghar’ to be Set Up in Delhi if BJP Comes to Power: CM Sonowal

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister who have joined the band wagon to campaign for BJP in the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, said that a ‘Namghar’ will be set up if BJP comes to power in Delhi.

CM Sonowal who was campaigning for Rohtas Nagar (East Delhi) BJP candidate, Jitender Mahajan, on February 4 also said that a road will be named after Srimanta Sankardev in Delhi.

It is said that many MPs from the northeast and senior BJP leaders would also campaign for the saffron party’s candidates contesting the February 8 assembly polls.

The election for Delhi Assembly is scheduled to be held on February 8 while the counting of votes will take place on February 11.
