In front of a packed crowd at the Polo grounds, Mrs Marjorie Noreen Dunai was crowned Mrs Shillong 2019.
Along with that, Mrs Apoorva D. Gunanka and Mrs Smti Isapaia Shullai were declared the 1st runners and the 2nd runners up respectively. After the crowing, Mrs Dunai, a mother of two, thanked the organizers, groomers, judges, co-contestants, her family for their support, well wishers and the crowd who had attended the event. She also encouraged others to take part in such events in the future.
The pageant was held as a part of the recently concluded Cherry Blossom Festival 2019 which was held at the Polo Grounds. Apart from Mrs Shillong, the proceedings also featured the Miss Cherry Blossom and the Plus Size pageants.
