More than 50 cars participate in TSD Car Rally - driFTErs

The first edition of“driFTErs”, a fun-filled yet competitive event based on the TSD (Time, Speed, Distance) car rally model, organized by Guwahati Round Table 235 was a huge success with more than 50 cars participating for the unique charity fund-raising eventat Hotel Ginger on Sunday. The car rally was flagged off with a motive to raise funds for building the infrastructure of Shankardev Shishu Vidya Niketan in Dadara, near Hajo. Anupam Deka with his navigator Abhijit Gogoi was awarded with 1st prize of Rs 51,000, while Saurabh Mardawith his navigator Gaurav Marda and co-driver Pratik Binnani and Deepak Prithany with his navigator Pawan Prithany and co-driver Mukesh Prithany were awarded 2nd and 3rd prize of Rs 31,000 and 21,000 respectively. Dolly Rani Das with her navigator Mayuri Sonowal and Priyanka Barua with her navigator Pallabita Bora were awarded with the cash prize of Rs 21,000 and Rs 11,000 respectively for scoring highest points in “Lady Participants” category.   Speaking on the event, Parveen Goyal, Chairman, Guwahati Round Table 235 said, “The first edition of driFTErs – Round Table India Car Rally was a magnanimous success.
