More cities from Assam to be included in the Smart City project

Guwahati: Urban Development Minister Atul Bora on Wednesday informed the State Assembly that in addition to Guwahati, the State Government has also sent a proposal to the centre for inclusion of Jorhat, Tezpur,Tinsukia, Nagaon, Silchar and Dibrugarh under the Smart City scheme.

This will widen the scope for growth of other cities in Assam.
