Missing Guwahati School Student Found At Railway Station

GUWAHATI: On October 31, a class X student of Guru Nanak National High School went missing.

The young student's vanishing act left his family and the authorities in a state of concern and confusion. But the boy was found today at the Guwahati Railway Station at around 2:30 PM.

Speaking to GPlus, a family member of the student stated, "He left for his coaching class as usual on that day, but his routine took an unexpected turn. He was last seen taking a ride from Sarabhati to Nepali Mandir. He told us that he was kidnapped from Nepali Mandir and forcibly taken to Lakhimpur."

His father, Bikas Mandal, filed a missing report at the Bharalumukh Police Station after 8 PM on the same day as the boy went missing.

Speaking to GPlus, a senior police official from Bharalumukh Police Station stated, "Our investigation led us to discover that this was not a typical case of abduction. Instead, it appears to be related to the student's mental health and may be categorised as a family matter."

“Today he was found at Guwahati Railway station around 2:30 PM,” the police official further added.

Further investigation is underway.
