GUWAHATI: In the early hours of Thursday, November 14, a gold chain snatching incident unfolded in the Rajgarh area of Guwahati. Two robbers, riding a motorcycle, allegedly targeted a woman who was out for a morning ride on her new scooter.

According to reports, the robbers approached the woman and threatened her with a weapon before swiftly making off with her gold chain and earrings.
Speaking to GPlus, an official from the Chandmari police station confirmed the incident, stating, “In the early morning, a chain snatching incident occurred in Rajgarh area. The victim is identified as Babita Das. Further investigation is underway and we are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the culprits.”
