GUWAHATI: Users of Microsoft Windows are encountering widespread issues with the Blue Screen of Death, as reported across various regions on July 19. Many affected individuals are using X (formerly Twitter) to share their experiences.

Additionally, there has been a surge in outage reports concerning Microsoft services in India on Downdetector. Thousands of incidents have been documented on Downdetector, encompassing Microsoft products such as Teams, Azure, and the Store.

Numerous major multinational corporations in India have also reported the problem affecting their operations across multiple sites. According to multiple media reports employees using Windows-based desktops and laptops are observing their screens turning blue due to this issue. Notably, this problem appears to be isolated to Windows devices and does not impact Mac computers or Apple iPads.
