GUWAHATI: Arnab Goswami in a brief message to the media fraternity on 9 November said that his father, Retd. Colonel Manoranjan Goswami, passed away at around 12:45 AM in Mumbai after ‘battling a long illness.’ The mortal remains of Manoranjan Goswami will be brought to Guwahati on Friday, later today.
Goswami was a retired Army officer from Assam and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His final rites will be performed in Guwahati on Saturday afternoon.
