GUWAHATI: A man has been arrested in regard to the Nalbari moral police incident in Batahghila region by police on November 7.
The accused has been identified as Bimal Barman.
In a video, which has surfaced on social media, the minor girl can be seen being harshly interrogated by a group of villagers during which a person can be seen assaulting the girl and kicking her.

As per reports, the girl was getting a photoshoot done in the area, to which the villagers objected.
Reportedly, the victim along with a boy had gone to the place to shoot a Tiktok video,however, the locals alleged that they were involved in some indecent activities and started harassing them.
