GUWAHATI: A man was killed in a rhino attack in Assam’s Kaziranga on Friday morning, January 3.

The victim, identified as Amram Ganak, a farmer, was attacked while working in the Mahpara area of the Kohora range.
Ganak was quickly rushed to a nearby medical center, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Speaking to GPlus, a Senior Ranger confirmed that the rhino involved was a stray from Kaziranga. "The deceased was a farmer who was unfortunately attacked while working in the area," the officer said.
