GUWAHATI: A man identified as Partha Pratim was found dead in Hatigaon on November 11. Originally from Jonai, Pratim had been residing on Raghunath Path in Hatigaon, Guwahati. The incident was reported to the police around 2 PM, prompting an immediate response from Hatigaon Police Station.

A police official from Hatigaon, speaking to GPlus, said, "Preliminary investigation suggests that it is a case of suicide. However, the post-mortem report will substantiate the actual cause."
The family of the deceased has claimed the body, and a detailed investigation is currently underway to confirm the circumstances surrounding his death. Further information is awaited.
